research question:What are the opinions of the sc judges on SB 1070 - is there alignment between liberals and conservatives
Chief Justice- The head of the supreme court.
Comframation hearing- A meeting to confirm if something is constitutional.
Conservitive/liberal- more strict tradition literal/favor progress and change interpret constitution more losely
Precedent- take into consideration previous rulings.
Majority opinion-Majority opinion of the supreme court. The arizona law is connected to the supreme court. Sb 1070 is a state law of Arizona and the supreme court is the body of law that interprets laws for the whole nation. The law passed in Arizona could be conflicting with other laws in the costitution based on interpretation so the law could cause some contraversy.
Does the supreme court have more power than the president? What is the chief justices power compared to the rest of the justices? Why does a case go to the supreme court rather than be decided by lower courts who makes that decision?
I did not prefer the live video chat because it was hard to use and on this occasion pointless. I dont think that this system has afuture in schools unless talking to people who are far away.
I learned some facts about how the supreme court makes decisions. They hear cases and make decisions based upon who they interpret or feel about a case. The majority wins.
“You have been elected the new Mayor of Malden. Before leaving office, the old mayor gave jobs to several of his political friends but the paperwork hasn’t made it to the personnel office yet.
A. Should you 1) honor the jobs promised by the old mayor, or 2) cancel the jobs since they aren’t “officially” in the system yet? I would cancel the jobs since they are just a gift from the old mayor to some of his friends and have no basis on merit for all I know. B. What are the possible negatives to denying these people their jobs? What are the possible positives to allowing them to take these jobs? Negitive effects of this would be making political enemies with these people. If you gave them the jobs they would be political friends also C. Would it make a difference if the perspective employees had worked against you in the mayoral elections? Yes if they did personal problems could get in the way and since they are probably in a diferent party than you they will also have conflicting views than you maybe.
Warren Courts is famous for helping to stop violations of rights in cases and racism. http://danielma.glogster.com/Greatness/
I designed my Glog the way I did to give it a feel of age and constitutionality.
I studied the McDonald vs. Chicago case and McDonald won 5 to 4. There was contraversy whether having guns would help people protect themeselves or cause more crime. I think the rights to keep guns was a good decision.

Our article is about the liberal perspective on the McDonald vs. Chicago case. It argues why guns will not be banned for at least a while.
